Bonjour all

Just had some of the field grade paint delivered to me so I tested it against the .68 and attached are the splat results.

Top (yellow) is 68 cal and bottom (green and orange) is 50 cal

That is some what true....... However in Toulose a few years back I seem to remember your face being the barn door :)

So so predictable, its sad really

I'll say then that you did well on that paint test to deflect all those balls off multiple surfaces to hit that box!!

Piper, consider this a citizens divorce

The hit looks half approximately half as big. To me this poses as quite an issue?

Has anyone considered the difficulty from a marshals point of view?
In many instances spray from a .68 would be very close to the size of a direct hit from a .50 cal

Would this make a gradual transition impossible? Could be very difficult to make good decisions if 1/2 the players in a tournie are running .50 and the others .68

Don't get me wrong ALL very good experienced marshals will be able to make a good call but lets be honest here, is there anyone on this forum who has never suffered a bad call from a marshal at one time or another? I think this could be a real factor to consider before making the change to .50 cal
