Just wondered if any of you guys who have the dm14 have tuned yours yet
Outta the box it's not bad but seen I few videos on YouTube people shooting theirs and
They sound a lot quieter than mine it have had a little play with the lpr and the dwell nothing major
Just wondered if there was a tuning guide or what everybody else has got theirs set up like

Cheers viper

I'd suggest like most spoolies that breaking in orings will help... so you will have to go out and shoot paint at people to get the maximum benefit! ;)
It's a shame he has that marker. As to when we agree on playing he hardly shoots a ball ;):D:D:ROFLMAO:

I've done a few cases now ;p and apparently they can be tuned outta the
Box but lpr at 2 1/2 turns out and a dwell of 21 seems to be the one for me

I just got one myself and will be using this thread's advice and posting back. I can't wait till Saturday. How do you like the barrel?

Dwell at 21/22 and start the LPR from all way in (bolt barely responsive) and bring out a quafter turn until you have full function. With no barrel place your finger down the breach and feel the bolt on the tip of your finger. Being extremely careful as I don't fancy a 'Aaron eccles lost me a finger' thread :p

Mine was already bedded in when purchased so will work flawlessly at 2 + 3/4 turns out. Unbroken in normally 3 + 1/2 or 4 turns out.

Billy wing bolt works a treat to quiet things down but as mentioned still requires a bit of bedding in or a soft Oring kit fitting. ;)

Hope this helped

The UL barrel for me is the best stock barrel on the market, period. But depending on the size of paint your plinking it does have it's ads and disadvantages. I myself have being shooting Laysick (graffiti remake) lately and the bore is a tad too big making it quite air hungry. But have tried it with a deadly wind null and fibur and the air goes a lot further and it feels almost like cheating

My opinion, others may vary.
