okay, firstly sorry if this is in the wrong place but thought the best people to answer my question would be tourney players!

right okay, ive been playing for some time now, after seeing campaign in birmigham and played on a sup air id like to get into regular tourneys. nothing too big but just competative enough to keep me interested.

anyways my question is, what is the actual cost of tourney ball?
i mean with paint costs, league fees, transport costs, trainning etc etc?

just a general break down, nothing to specific.

cheers!

When I played a few years ago it was quite expensive, your looking at anywhere between £35 - £45 per person per tourney, £30 + per case of paint (this can be less if your sponsored) you can use 2 to 4 cases per event. Then you have petrol costs that is a complete wild card depending on where you are and how far you have to travel.
For me it was costing around about £80 - 90 per event.

It really depends on what tournaments you play and how for you are going to travel obviously.

Entry fee is £35 as a rule of thumb.

Paint bill split by the team again is £20 - £30 each

So about £70 – £80 all in with splitting fuel on top.

You can spend £100 on a walk on day if you go mad on the trigger easy.

it rea,y does depend as everyone has said on which tournements you play.

£35-40 entry fee ( for a good 5 - 7 man event such as Uk masters or Bullys)

paint bill can vary depending on what diviosion you play.
Koth look at about £15-20 depending on what paint you shoot

Unlimited we look at about £40 and we pay £29 for a box of paint so not the cheapest but good paint.

Transport we always split betwen everyone in car £10

Hotel £40 - 50 a night. we always manage to get at least 4 in a room :D

Camping - Free :D defiantly the way to go in the summer months.

Food, drinks etc £15 for a weekend.

Beer - Optional _ £20 - £100 (depends where we are and how much we drink ;))

You can make it as cheap or expensive as youl ike really.

i try to train 2 - 3 times per month shooting about 6 boxes of paint over the month - £180 paint bill.

i have found its not a cheap sport and my main sponsers are

Capital one
Hsbc
Alliance & leicester
my overdrat etc

But i have alsways gone overboard lol.

you guys should be thankful.

over in Northern ireland we have the additional cost of flights and which bumps up the price of a local tourney to at least £150 per head.

Midlands Masters is once a month. The main format is 5 man, but they are now looking at doing some 10 man and the odd 3 man as well. The next one is the Lincoln 10 man 23rd October.
